Our fiber optic wdms are manufactured using the fused biconical taper process on fully software controlled automatic fabrication stations. Gould Fiber Optics uses our patented GlasSolder process for making a glass to glass bond between optical fibers and silica substrate.
Gould’s single mode Fused Wavelength Division Multiplexers are manufactured using Corning SMF-28® Fiber and available in various optical isolation options such as ≥ 10 (Series 1) or ≥16 (Series 2) for operating wavelengths 1310 & 1550. Other specification options are available upon request. Available connector options are ST, FC, SC, LC, FC/APC & SC/APC.
